The second Icon-class hull refines small things - the AquaDome lighting is better, the Surfside playground reconfigured, Empire Supper Club's menu evolved. The Royal Loft's panoramic 2-story window with the king bed on the upper level is the best suite layout at sea right now. ZOMA caught a $1,400 onboard credit promo we wouldn't have seen.

Royal Loft Suite on Icon of the Seas - Star Class is its own vacation
Seven nights round-trip Miami on Icon of the Seas in a Royal Loft Suite, Star Class. ZOMA pre-booked the genie service, locked in Empire Supper Club and Hibachi for two nights each, and reserved cabanas at Hideaway Beach on CocoCay before they sold out. Our genie Marlon had Coco Beach Club lunch arranged, AquaTheater reserved seating every night, and skip-the-line on everything from Crown's Edge to FlowRider. The 1,772 sq ft suite with the in-suite slide kept our kids busy for hours. Icon's Thrill Island is the best ship-top neighborhood at sea.

Seven nights round-trip Miami on Icon of the Seas. Two cabins: a Junior Suite for the adults and a Central Park balcony for the teens. ZOMA's recommendation to put the adults in the Junior Suite for Suite Lounge / Coastal Kitchen access while the teens had the conventional balcony was right. The teens never came back to the suite anyway; we used the suite-only pool deck and Coastal Kitchen daily. A truly restful babymoon at 28 weeks
